He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Miles Darwin Garrett and Juanita Grace Ketchum Garrett; his wife Pat Garrett; his children, Michael Garrett of Colt, AR and Candace "Candy" Crippin of Colt, AR; his brother David Garrett of Evorman, TX; and his grandchildren, Camryn, Brier and River.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or the Wounded Warrier Project.
