He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Starkey, Sr. and Vera Jane Milton Starkey (Helen Eugenia "Jean"); his siblings, Robert, Chris, Mary Ann, Lola Mae, Helen, Barbara Jean, Martha and Elizabeth; his son-in-law Vincent Crumley; his granddaughter Crissa Partain; and his great great grandchild Raven.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Starkey of Harrisburg, Joseph Anthony Starkey of Cave City, Gail Hudgens of Colt and Vickie Sue Crumley of Birdeye; and his brother James Starkey of Tennessee. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
