She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Saffell and Mary Evans Saffell; her siblings, Ira Saffell, Keith Saffell, Sue Jensen and Cathy Ponders; and her granddaughter Heather Hoskins.
She is survived by: her children, Alvin Self Jr. (Jessica) of Clarendon, Arkansas, Rhonda Sanders (Kenneth) of Wynne and Audra Bumgarner (Linuel) of Colt, Arkansas; and her siblings, Tommy Saffell (Tammy) of Devall's Bluff, Joe Saffell (Lisa) of Hunter, Perry Saffell of Clarendon, Carl Saffell (Joanna) of Clarendon, Arkansas, Linda Hickman of Clarendon, Flora Boughten (Chris) of Brinkley, Debra Griffith (Bruce) of Stuttgart and Sandra Smith of Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren 13 great grandchildren.
