He is survived by: his wife Joan Magee McGlothlin; his sons, Roy Irving of Oregon, David James (Sandra) of Hartman, Arkansas and Jody Mullholand of Coal Hill, Arkansas; and his siblings, Rocky McGlothlin of Louisville, Kentucky, Faye Turner of Louisville and Ella Mae Jones of Louisville, Kentucky. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
