He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Walker Gifford and Althay Lavine Gifford (Heath); his sons, Algie Gifford, Jr. (Pat) and Wayne Gifford; and his siblings, Andrew Jordan Gifford, Elmer Leroy Gifford and Willie Jean Ponder.
He is survived by: his former wives, Betty Gifford of Bristol, VA. and Brenda Gifford of Las Vegas, NV; his sons, Mike Gifford of Coal Hill, AR and J. D. Gifford of Coal Hill, AR; his grandchildren, Hayley, Patrick, Angel, Mickel, Tiffany, Wayne, Mathew, J. D., Jacob, Bryce and Brenda; and his sisters, Joyce Ponder of Stuttgart, AR, Peggy Golardo of Grangville, ID and Hellen Vaughan of Lamar, AR.. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren.
