She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Edward Hicks and Naomi Osborne Hicks; her husband Cletus Jerome Mahaffey; her children, Karl Edward Mahaffey and Mary Louise Mahaffey; her brothers, Vernon Hicks, Eugene Hicks and Donnie Hicks; her brother-in-law Wayne Miller; and her sisters, Delores (Tob Derossett), Phyllis (Everett Lauth), Joy, Rainer Brodnicki and Mary Agness Hicks.
She is survived by: her daughter Jeri Cooley; her sisters, June (Denny Dorsten), Bonita (Eric Welker) and Pauline Miller; and her sisters-in-law, Brenda Hicks and Shirley Hicks. She is also survived by two granddaughters, one grandson, five great-granddaughters, three great-grandsons; two great-great-grandsons.
