He was predeceased by: his parents, Cam Lee and Maud Muller Sitton (Hill); his daughter Shirley F. Hoover; and his grandsons, Jeffery Wade Smith and Mark A. Hoover.

He is survived by: his daughter Glenda; and his son-in-law Charles E. Smith. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, nine great - grandchildren, twelve great -great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
