With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mamie Porter (Clinton, Arkansas), born in Aubrey, Texas, who passed away on February 9, 2020 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Edmond Nixson and Mamie Elizabeth Pugh (George Allen Porter); her siblings, Edmond Nixson, Mary Leek, Lorena, Alice, James and Joseph; her son-in-law Richard Chapman; and her stepchildren, Bonnie McGregor and George Porter.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Chapman of Clinton, Patricia Moidi (Larry) of Olathe and Scott Porter of Fort Smith; her stepdaughter Dorren Hanes (Dave); and her grandchildren, Randy Chapman (Selvia), Roddie Chapman (Christie), LaDonna Miles (Alan), Kandi Chapman, David Swanson, Christy Swanson (Tara), Amy Wiese (Bryan), Kimberly Kirby (Jon), Angela Herbison (Clay) and Rebecca Moildi. She is also survived by 15 great- grandchildren, 6 great great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, friends.
