She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh V. Harness and Marjorie Morrison Harness; her grandparents, Nobe, Dora Harness, Andy and Ferby Morrison; and her stepson Dwayne Mercer.
She is survived by: her husband Benny Mercer; her stepdaughters, Dora Glover (Mark) of Guy, Tammy Ertle (Brian) of Quitman and Anna Waters (Jimmy) of Greenbrier; her grandchildren, Ashley Glover, Heath Ertle, Kayla Waters and Wesley Waters; and her great grandchildren, Kara and Izzy. She is also survived by many cousins, extended family and friends.
