He is survived by: his children, Ronald Bass (Ann), Esta Elmore (Thomas) and Kenneth Dwayne Bass (Anna-Marie); his grandchildren, Laura Bass Smith (Jason), Christopher Dane Bass (Christie), Weston Bass (Erica), Marinda Bass Haga (Andrew), David Bass (Liesel), Andrew Bass (Catherine), Daniel Elmore (Tonya), Julie Elmore Eldridge (Brian), Amber Elmore Whitlow (Buck), Rebecca Elmore Burton (Christopher), Emily Elmore, Sara Marie Thredgold (Cameron), Kenneth William Bass and Anna Yvonne Cannell (Nick); his great grandchildren, Brandon, Krista Smith, Sierra, Collin, Cecily Bass, Ian, Genevieve, Penelope, Elliott Bass, Austin, Gavin Haga, Emelie, Charlotte Bass, Elias, Olive Bass, Jacob Elmore (Melody), Brenna Elmore, Quinten, Ryan Garrison, Bryce, Kate Eldridge, Madison Ribble (Tiger), Evan Poindexter, Owen Whitlow, Chloe, Annalise, Zachary, Olivia, Ella, Asher Burton, Amyiah, Josiah, Jayda King and Adrian Elmore; and his great great grandchildren, Ryker and Layla Thompson.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Simpson Funeral Home (5160 Peters Creek Rd, Hollins, VA 24019). A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Huie Cemetery.
