He was predeceased by: his parents, John William and Hannah E. Appleby (Hunter); the mother of his children Joan Appleby; his son Jimmy Appleby; and his stepson Terry Nichols.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Appleby (Williams); his sons, Jeff Appleby (Michelle) and Jack Appleby; his stepchildren, Lindsay, Lisa and Vicky; his grandchildren, Jessica, Sarah, Jeff, Amanda and Austin; and his stepgrandchildren, Lindsay, Phillip and David. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
