She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Keeling and Eula Mae Keeling (Hunt); and her siblings, Nancy, Hazel and Arvel.
She is survived by: her spouse Hollis M. Gates, Jr.; her son Lee Gates of Plant; her daughter-in-law Teresa Gates (Cox); her grandchildren, Jason, April and Abby Gates; and her great grandchildren, Jordyn Bates and Rylan Gates. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
