She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Noah Simpson and Nettie Simpson (Sublett); her brothers, Dan Simpson and Sherrill Simpson (Bud); her brother-in-law Bill; her sister Shirley Cates (Simpson); her parents-in-law, Clarence and Eva Striping; her husband Darrell Stripling; her son Ryan Stripling; her grandchildren, Davis, Anna Claire and Jesse Faye Stripling of Clinton; and her siblings-in-law, Dan, Robing Stripling, Sue Simpson and Alma Crawford. She was also cherished by her nieces and nephews.
On the crisp, cold morning of February 5, 2022, as the sun shone brightly on the icy landscape, Elizabeth Anna "Jean" Simpson Stripling escaped the ravages of Multiple Sclerosis and Covid to fly into the arms of Jesus.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Quattlebaum Cemetery Fund in her memory.
