He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion O. Bruce and Elizabeth Turner Bruce. He is survived by: his wife Janet Bruce of Clinton; his siblings, Othel R. Bruce of Vilonia and Cindy Johnson of Benton; his children, Paula Cowsert of Clinton and Terry Bruce (Layne) of Acworth; and his grandchildren, Cade Cowsert (Katie) of Clinton, Blair, Sloan and Cash Bruce of Acworth. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
