He was predeceased by: his wife Jeanette Cannaday Tomlinson; his parents, Elijah Floyd and Lily Hice Tomlinson; and his siblings, Jennie V. Hartwick, Helen Lois Hutto, Raymond Wilson Tomlinson and Jettie Ruth Rowland.
He is survived by: his children, James David Tomlinson (Susan), Robbia Mays (Jeff) and Billy F. Tomlinson (Claire); and also, Josh Tomlinson, Adam Tomlinson, Kevin Jensen, Jared Bridges, Ed Scroggins, Elijah Gus Scroggins and Hunter Mays. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
