He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Emerson and Ora Emerson; and his siblings, Lois Hankins, Syble Berry, Laverne McDonald, Alvie and Bill Emerson.
He is survived by: his wife Fern; his children, Marvin (Judy), Gary (Lisa) and Diane (Ron); his grandchildren, Jeremy, Kayla, Haley, Isaac, Brian, Jennifer and Savannah; his great grandchildren, Hannah, Abby, Canaan, Lily, Taylor, Landon and Brinlea; and his brothers, Wayland, Doc and Leon Emerson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
