She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Tucker and Pauline Tucker (Brown); her husband James Applewhite; her grandson Brysen Sharp; and her great grandchild Vincent Shaw.

She is survived by: her children, Skilar Applewhite, Carol Burdine (Jason) of Farmerville, Cristina Beutler (Shane) of Harrison, Arkansas, Cheri Sharp (Jay) of Harrison, Arkansas and Larry Thompson II of Harrison, Arkansas. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter and many friends.
