He is survived by: his wife Sandra "Dadee" Kern (Southward); his children, Adam Kern of Cave Springs, AR, Nick Kern of Centerton, AR, Slade Laneer of Clarksville, AR. and Abbe Laneer of Clarksville, AR.; his grandchildren, Blake Kern, Alex Kern, Easton Kern, Landon Kern, Ford Kern, Mila Kern, Caden Dollar, Laniey Laneer and Lincoln Laneer; his brothers, Gavin Kern of Antigua, Guatemala, Ted Kern of Rotonda, FL, Leon Kern of Rogers, AR and Robin Kern (Rick Kern) of Mt. Airy, NC; and his aunt Joan Rusk of Leesburg, FL.
