She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Cotton and Lilly Golden Cotton (Patterson); her husband Ray Franklin Alston; her siblings, Jack Cotton, Charles Cotton (CH), Louis Cotton, Palace Lee Cotton, LeRoy Cotton, Ella Reed, LaFrance York, Lois Wrye and Palace Lou Cotton; and her daughter Sharon Harmon (Warren) of Clarksville.
She is survived by: her son Ray Alston, Jr. (Paula) of Clarksville, Arkansas; her great-nephew Clayton Alston (Julie) of Russellville, Arkansas; her stepdaughters, Veronica Hardwick of Fort Smith and Nina Sinclair of Fort Smith, Arkansas; her grandchildren, William Brockman, Jr., Jucory Brockman, Whitney Freeman, Christina Alston and Ray Alston, III; and her stepgrandchild Lamonica Lee. She is also survived by her ten great-grandchildren.
