He is survived by: his children, Sylvia Marie Powell, Harry Benjamin Powell and Ari Jane Powell; his sister Marilyn Powell of Dallas Texas; his niece Julia Kissinger; his parents, Mike Powell and Susie Powell of Dallas; and his significant other Krista DeBuhr of Clarksville.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the University of the Ozarks Campus (415 N College Ave, Clarksville, AR 72830).
