He was predeceased by: his parents, Mervin Lee and Ruby Griffith (Sanderson). He is survived by: his wife Sheila Griffith; his children, Daniel Griffith of Metairie, Martha Marlow (Harold) of Scranton, Lea Ann Bramlett (Thurman) of Caulksville and Kimberly Bordes of Metairie; his grandchildren, Matthew Reynolds (Mikyla), Alanna Wommack (Shawn), Emilee Johnson (Dalton), Tyler Reynolds (Brittany), Logan Marlow (Hannah) and Jacob Griffith of Louisiana; his siblings, June Tullis of Russellville and David Griffith (Marcia) of San Marcos; and his niece J. J. Springer (Derek) of San Marcos, California.. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his honor to Centerwell Home Health and Gentiva Hospice.
