He was predeceased by: his parents, Hewitt Payne and Louise Puder Payne; his wife Anna Mae Payne; his siblings, Jim Payne, Charlie Payne, Bob Payne and Dora Russell; his granddaughter Allison Payne; and his great grandchild Braylee Dalton.
He is survived by: his children, Mike (Darla Payne), Mark (Christina Payne), Nancy Payne and Margaret (Bud Harmon); and his sisters, Lora Beth Williams and Irene Payne.
