He is survived by: his wife Fern Ann Cowell (Tate); his children, William Louis Cowell (Deanna) of Lamar, Arkansas and Shilla Oakes (Ron) of Lamar, Arkansas; and his siblings, Donald Cowell of Ozone, Arkansas, Dean Cowell of Lamar, Arkansas, Catherine McBride and Elizabeth Moreland of Ozone, Arkansas. He is also survived by his five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
