She was predeceased by : her mother Leona Wise Smith; her sons, Ronald Ritchie and Gregory Ritchie; the father of her children Roy Ritchie; her brother Earnest Lee "Buck" Smith; and her siblings-in-law, Johnny Elsey, Bill Holt, Hack Cummings and Linda Ragsdale.

She is survived by : her husband Billy Bob Elsey; her children, Lynard Buffington (Alex) and Delenah Curtis (Gary); her siblings, Jim Smith (Jonnie), Marilyn Holt and Sue Cummings; her sisters-in-law, Vicky Clay, Brenda Shipley, Barbara and Patricia; and the father of her children Danny Buffington. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Cornerstone Full Gospel Church (1191 Mill Rd, Clarksville, AR 72830).
