He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Hardgrave and Lela Harding Hardgrave; his wife Betty Sue Foster Hardgrave; and his siblings, Luster Hardgrave, Robert Hardgrave, Haskell Hardgrave, Iva Ray, Gladys Ingram and Muriel Hardgrave.
He is survived by: his children, Ben Alfred Hardgrave (Judy) of Clarksville, Arkansas, Peggy Sue Horne (Larry) of Clarksville, Arkansas and Dianne Hardgrave of Clarksville, Arkansas. He is also survived by six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
