She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Schurg and Keizia Collins Schurg; her son Glenn Acord; her siblings, Spencer Collins and Elsie Coder; and her grandchildren, Chad Acord and Alicia Pitts.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Acord (Connie), Mary Birkhahn (Jerry) and Anita Pitts (Houston); her daughter-in-law Juanita Acord; and her sisters, Marcet Denningston of Alix, AR, Lucia Ferguson of San Francisco, CA and Nellie Schurg of Fayetteville, AR. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
