He was predeceased by: his father George Henry Stender; and his significant other Jeanne Frances Stender (Crabtree). He is survived by: his children, Charles Stender Jr. (Rose) and Paula Frances Bass; his grandchildren, John C. Stender (Victoria), Paul Langley (Melanie) and Cayla JeLin Bass; and his great grandchildren, Wyatt C. Stender, Brodie Langley and Avery Jo Langley.
