He was predeceased by: his parents, Polk Purifoy and Mary Lou Purifoy of Chidester, AR.; his wife Nan Purifoy; his daughter Melanie L. Purifoy; and his brother Richard Purifoy.
He is survived by: his sons, Jason Purifoy (Cindy) and Jarrod Purifoy (Natalie); his grandchildren, Melanie E. Purifoy of Chidester, Chase Purifoy of Chidester and Katie Purifoy of Chidester; and his siblings, Roger Purifoy and Phyllis Purifoy of Camden. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
