It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jerry Leon Hillman of Chidester, Arkansas, born in Fordyce, Arkansas, who passed away on July 1, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James J. Hillman and Bobbie Meeks Hillman; and his siblings, Harry J. Hillman, Carlton Hillman, William Hillman, Mozelle Slaughter, Bobbie Joe Mason and Janie Brown.

He is survived by: his sons, Max B. Hillman (Brittany) of Chidester and Brad Hillman (Summer) of Gulf Shores, AL; his sisters, Margie Aslin of Bedford, TX, Ruby Hile of Ft. Smith, Patsy Cunningham of Ft Smith, Louise Pierce of Arkadelphia and Barbara Gill of Greeneville, TN; and his close friend Kay Jones of Gurdon. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
