He was predeceased by: his brother Bruce Norman Halk; and his grandparents, Henry, Nelie Mooney, Nick and Ida Halk.

He is survived by: his parents, Norman Halk and Sue Halk (Mooney) of Cherry Valley; his wife Lisa Halk (Thorn); his children, Christopher Halk (Jessica) of Cherry Valley, Candice Brooke Halk of Cherry Valley and CariBeth Halk-Wilder (Caleb) of Cherry Valley; his sister Susan Diane Stephens (Gary) of Cherry Valley; his mother-in-law Kay Thorn of Greenbrier; his siblings-in-law, Mark Thorn (Shelly) of Guy, Stacey Halk of Jonesboro and Leslie Martin (Bobby) of Greenbrier; his grandchildren, Mariah, Brenly, Drake Halk, Kaycen Wilson, Kamdyn, Kenlea Eoff, Caeleigh Wilder, Caity Kyle, Dalton Jackson and Brady Hess; his great grandchild Bryce Keeling; and his nieces and nephews, Brandon, Brett, Kaylen, Kade Stephens, Jagger, Presley Halk, Kayla Tubbs, Will, Wesley Brown and Madison Thorn. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
