He was predeceased by: his parents, Vester Baney and Dolly Baney (Ferguson); his wife Shirley Baney; his daughter Betty Jean Tripp; and his siblings, Maxdie Baney, Walter Baney, Leland Baney, James Baney, Alvin Baney, Mildred Woods, Bonnie Sue Hubert, Velma Jean Floyd, Sarah Lee Floyd, Melissa Ann Davis and Mary Austin.
He is survived by: his children, William Baney (Debra), James Baney (Roxanne), Montana, Charles Baney, Jr. of Cherry Valley, Timmy Baney (Stacy), Allen Baney (Tanya) and Shirley McGinnis (Wayne); his sister Pauline Baney of Trumann; and his granddaughter Anastasia McGinnis. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
