He is survived by: his wife Karen of Fond; his children, Brian Schmidt (Bobbi) of Fond, Sue Kleinschmidt of Fond, Lac Raab and Debra Raab (Bob) of St. Cloud; his grandchildren, Tanya Schmidt (Alisha), Olivia Schmidt (Cory) and Jeremiah Schmidt; his stepgrandsons, Joshua Raab and Derek Wensel; his great grandchild Skylar Raab; his brother David Schmidt (Barbara) of Fond; and his brothers-in-law, Bill Steffen, Bob Steffen (Kathy), John Steffen (Alice) and David Steffen. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
