He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Barrett and Verna Barrett (Koepsell); and his brothers-in-law, Earl "Bud" Ponto and Ervin Senst. He is survived by: his wife Lougine Barrett of Utica, MN; his children, Brian Barrett (Dawn) of Lake City, Craig Barrett (Prachnha) of Bertram, TX, Dean Barrett of Utica and Jen Stutelberg (Paul) of Albertville; his grandsons, Spencer Smith and Bryce Smith; and his sister Phyllis Swarts of California.
