He was predeceased by: his parents, John Julien and Bernice Brennan Julien; his wife Bonnie; and his sister Ellen Sullivan. He is survived by: his daughter Laurie Dean (Steve) of Allen, Texas; his grandsons, Brad Dean (Jan) and Alex Dean; his great grandchild Theo; and his sister Mary Pollock. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
