He was predeceased by: his daughter Kimberly Parten Jones; his grandson Tyler Edward Parten; his parents, Henry Edward and Beatrice White Parten; and his siblings, Bill, Jack Parten and Dorothy Coleman.
He is survived by: his wife Charleen Brewer; his children, Davie Parten (Dana) of West Fork, Arkansas, Pamela Parten Pickett of Marianna and Paula Parten Curtis (Bill) of Marianna; his grandchildren, Nathan, Jonathan, Brandon, Daniel Lowell and Anna Laura; his great grandchildren, Paige, Wesley, Mollie, Wyatt, Denver and Beckam; his great great grandchildren, Lila and Sawyer; and his sister Louise Nichols of Jonesboro. He is also survived by many other relatives, neighbors, and good friends.
