He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence McCarroll and Dora Ballard McCarroll; his siblings, Homer McCarroll, Lawrence McCarroll of Bella Vista, AR and Marie Croft (Mary); and his stepson Kurt Knauts of Rogers, AR.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Drake McCarroll; his children, Ed McCarroll, Jr. of Bentonville, AR, Scott McCarroll of Fayetteville, AR, Patti Snodgrass (Larry) of Lincoln, AR and Cindy Lindsey (Jim) of Bentonville, AR; his sister Dorothy (George Lee) of Abilene, TX; his sister-in-law Lee Douglas of Bella Vista, AR; and his stepson Kevin Knauts of Little Rock, AR.. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 2 step grandsons, & 3 step great-grandchildren, step-daughter-in-law.
