It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Austin Smith of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, born in Batesville, Arkansas, who passed away on March 3, 2021, at the age of 27, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Frankie Smith; and his nephew Brandon Lowe. He is survived by: his mother Tina Cochran (Mark) of Waynesboro; his wife Karla Shoemake Smith of Cherokee Village; his children, Aidalynn Jade, AnnaLee Marie Smith of Cherokee Village and Soloman Gabriel Smith of Waynesboro; and his siblings, Jeannie Slisher Smith of Tallahassee, Laura Smith-Arnold of Batesville, Krystal Scarbrough Shoemake (Dustin) of Hattiesburg, Amy Smith of Batesville, Christopher Jackson (Kenny) of Ohio, David Anthony, Justin Smith of Batesville, Coyleton Cochran (Ashley) of Mathersville and Court Cochran of Waynesboro. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; many other relatives and good friends.
