She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeptha Evans Taylor and Dess Elizabeth Taylor (Stubblefield); her husband Michael Brophy; her daughter Deborah Chambers; and her sister Vera Jean White.
She is survived by: her children, Becky Cole Fick (Thomas) of Gambrills, Maryland and David Cole of Branch; and her sister Carolyn Ford (Lane) of Cecil. She is also survived by grandchildren; and (14) great-grandchildren.
