He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Baumgartner and Katie Minden Baumgartner of Charleston; and his sisters, Marie Hatwig and Catherine Wilhelm. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Jameson Baumgartner; and his children, Michael Baumgartner (Heather) of Charleston, Sharon DeWitt of Charleston and Gail Watson (Raymond) of Charleston. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
