He is survived by: his father James Edward White Sr. of Charleston; his son Daniel White of Jacksonville; his sister Carol McFerran (Sam) of Charleston; and his nieces, Christina Slate of Midland, Stacy Wheatley of Lavaca and Melissa Burt of Charleston. He is also survived by six great nephews, one great niece and one great great nephew.
