She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Carr and Edna Carr (Parker); her husband Larry Moore; and her brothers, David Wayne Carr and Ervin Simpson.

She is survived by: her children, Jaime Pettit of Moffett, Larry Moore (Karen) of Charleston and James Moore of Alma; her sister Darlene Poindexter of Geronimo, OK; and her granddaughter Stormy Gillion (Josh) of Kibler. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
