She was predeceased by: her son Ted Travers; her parents, Alfred Snipes and Rea Anna Mounce (Laffoon); and her nephew Scotty Snipes. She is survived by: her husband Dale Burkhart; her children, Laurie Myers of Van Buren and Jody Pearson of Cedarville; and her brothers, Gil Snipes of Cedarville and Fred Snipes of Van Buren. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
