He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Louis and Inez Bender (Nation). He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his sons, Carl Bender (Amy) of Van Buren and John Bender (Charity) of Van Buren; his sister Dottie Nigh of Van Buren; and his grandchildren, Josh Bender, Sara Bender and Zane Bender.
