He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil McAllister and Eva Lee McAllister; his stepmother Jessie Hicks McAllister; his sister Laurine Hilliard; and his wife Edith.
He is survived by: his children, Kent McAllister (Sara) of Richmond, TX and Sara Young (Scott) of Fayetteville; his grandsons, Ryan McAllister, Matthew McAllister and Jaedon Crawford; his great grandchild Sadie McAllister; and his sisters, Margaret Oglesby and Nell Bennett. He is also survived by the cousins that he grew up with and loved like brothers and sisters and several nieces and nephews.
