It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Randall Louis Mertes (Cave Springs, Arkansas), born in Tipton, Missouri, who passed away on October 28, 2024, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Marvin Anthony Mertes. He is survived by: his mother Diana Mertes (Fischer); his wife Penny Mertes (Pflueger); his children, Evan Brant Mertes (Megan Floyd), Erin Elizabeth Mertes and Ellen Nicole Kovalenko (Pavel Kovalenko); and his siblings, Michael Anthony Mertes, Gregory Gerard Mertes (Jenny), Todd Allen Mertes (Laurie), Michelle Margaret White (Ralph) and Jennifer Anne Reed (Jeremy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Osage House (381 Pace Ln, Cave Springs, AR 72718).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Rampy MS Research Foundation, honoring his commitment to supporting others through volunteer work.
