She was predeceased by: her parents, Wheeler Parsons and Millie Owen Parsons; and her husband Clyde "Dick" Ellis. She is survived by: her children, Fred Ellis, Calvin Ellis, Elaine Sanders, Patricia Ellis and Vicki Haddock; and her siblings, Cecil Parsons, Rosa Moore and Bill Parsons. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.

In Lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial contributions to the best Cemetery.
