He was predeceased by: his parents, A. J. Howard and Ethee Lee Smith Howard; and his siblings, J. B. Howard, Juanita Gates and Peggy Clower.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Howard (Shiela) of Cave Springs and Karen Albares (Andy) of Foreman, AR; his grandchildren, Jennifer Laurent of Shreveport, LA, Rich Howard (Nancee) of Cave Springs, AR, Jason Howard of Hot Springs, AR, Trip Hawkins, Candace Ripley of Foreman, AR and Kaitlyn Flanagan (Zach) of Texarkana, AR; his great grandchildren, Jaxson Hawkins, Aubree Hawkins, Melanie Flanagan, Ben Flanagan and Gracie Kate Howard; and his stepgrandchildren, Tara McCabe of Centerton, AR and Terese Turner (Jeb) of Bentonville, AR. He is also survived by ten step-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church in Rogers or the Shriner's Hospital for Children in Shreveport, LA.
