She was predeceased by: her parents, James Bannister and Dessie Lee Bannister (Stacks); her former husband Floyd "Dude" Ruminer; her husband Henry Melton; her son James Eldon Ruminer; her stepson Jackie Lloyd Melton; and her siblings, Samuel Glenn Bannister, James Allen Bannister, John Wesley Bannister, Clifford Leon Bannister, Joe Bannister and Mary Ann Adams.
She is survived by: her children, Leroy Ruminer (Catlyn) of Harrison, Cecil Ray Ruminer (Debra) of Desha, Alfred Lynn Ruminer (Anna) of Temple, Texas and Mary Kathryn Clark (Tim) of Mountain View, Arkansas; and her stepchildren, Scott Melton (Toni) of Strawberry, Rodney Melton (Angie) of Pocahontas, Arkansas and Lisa Melton Steele (Craig) of Wichita, Kansas. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dugan Pentecostal Church (24006 AR-14, Mountain View, AR 72560). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
