She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Mathes and Ethel Allender Mathes; her husband Leon Acklin; and her siblings, Leon Mathes, Edward Mathes, Mildred Osborne and Delpha Ford.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Blevins (James) of Violet Hill and Joyce Hill of Cave City; her sister Laverne Gilbert of Pleasant Plains; and her grandchildren, Jasse Brown, Cara Brown, Krissy Nichols and Tyler McKown. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
