We are sad to announce that on August 6, 2021, at the age of 76, Marla Jean Powers Thompson of Cave City, Arkansas, born in Paris, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sid Powers and Opal Powers; and her sister Chloe Millard. She is survived by: her husband Joe Thompson; her children, Rocky Thompson (Denise) of Lonoke, AR, Joe D. Thompson Jr. of Little Rock, AR, Amber Williams of Fredericksburg, VA, Jessica Brightwell (Johnny) of Cave City, AR and Nicole Bolin of Cabot, AR.; her grandchildren, Aaron Brightwell, Stacey Thompson, Katria Williams, Nicholas Williams, Sydney Dennis, Matt Thompson, Mackenzie Clayton, Trey Thompson, Evelyn Green, Spencer Thompson and Tyler Brightwell; her great grandchildren, Emily Herrington, Mollie Isley, Bailey Isley, Hayden Brightwell, Will Taylor, Kaylyn Mohlke, Ryder Wilson, Kensley Dennis, Cooper Dennis and Malachi Clayton; and her great great grandchildren, Jameson Armstrong and Rugar Rounds.
Guests will be asked to wear masks in order to attend, and a streaming option will be available for those who cannot attend in person.
